Rolex Day-Date 36mm Yellow Gold Silver Dial

Arguably our favourite Rolex model at Wynn & Thayne, this yellow gold Day-Date in 36mm Ref. 118238 is a beauty to behold. Recently serviced by Rolex in 2022 and coming from its one and only owner it’s ready for a new journey.

This specific iteration of the iconic Day-Date pairs high polish 18k yellow gold with a crisp white dial. The Day-Date model is iconic for the day of the week spelled out in full at 12 o’clock and the date via the window at 3 o’clock. Hour markers are indexed in 18k yellow gold batons with luminesce fill – which is also seen in the hands. The 118238 began in the 2000’s and features the caliber 3155 movement, this features a quickset date and day mechanism powered via the twin-lock crown. The iconic Presidential bracelet contains its full links and is in great condition with zero stretch. Only minor hairline scratches are seen across the links. The watch comes with it’s original inner box, outer box, COSC tag, serial swing tag, leather wallet, booklets, original card from 2016 & Rolex service card from 2022.

Rolex Day-Date 118238 History:
Making its debut in 2000, the reference 118238 replaced the Day-Date reference 18238 and was in production until 2019. Rolex’s reference 118238 stands out as a larger and more substantial timepiece compared to its older Day-Date counterparts, mainly due to its broader lugs with a polished finish that catches the eye. This watch also carries a bit more weight on the wrist, courtesy of its President bracelet, featuring entirely solid links, and therefore, a more generous amount of gold in its construction.

Delivery

Delivery and processing speeds vary by pricing options. The following shipping estimates apply only to the contiguous US and exclude deliveries to PO boxes and military bases. Refunds

Refunds – Transaction Fee

Please note that if you request a refund after placing an order, a 10% transaction fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

This fee is charged by payment providers (such as PayPal, Stripe, and credit card processors) and is non-refundable. We do not receive any portion of this fee.

Late or Missing Refunds

Exchanges

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equal to the value of your returned item once the return has been approved.

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received is defective or incorrect.
